3 things to watch for when OSU faces Kansas

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Udoka Azubuike has been Kansas' best player when it and the Oklahoma State men's basketball team have matched up this season.

He won't take the court when the team's meet for the third time this season at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 tournament at the Sprint Center. Azubuike, a sophomore center, sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee at the end of the Jayhawks' practice in Allen Fieldhouse on Tuesday. Mitch Lightfoot and Silvio de Souza have been Azubuike's primary backups this season, though Lightfoot will start against the eighth-seeded Cowboys (19-13 overall), who are coming off a 71-60 victory against Oklahoma on Wednesday in the first round.
