The duo of Natasha Mack and Kassidy De Lapp:
Last game against West Virginia, the Mack and De Lapp duo combined for 29 points. There were only three missed shots between them and together they had an incredible nine assists. It is rare for two of a team’s three leaders in assists to play in the post, but that’s exactly what happened against the Mountaineers. OSU coach Jim Littell said that the two had a chemistry in the game that encouraged him to play them down the stretch in a big win for the Cowgirls.
3-point efficiency:
Littell has said he wants the Cowgirls taking around 15 3-pointers each game, but if they make 64% of their 3s like they did last game the Cowgirls would likely have license to take as many as they want.
