Oklahoma State got its latest 2019 commitment from a familiar pipeline.
Friday, 3-star cornerback Xavier Player announced his verbal commitment to Cowboys, making him the eighth member of OSU's 2019 class. Player is out Texas' Cibolo Steele High School, which also produced former OSU defensive stars linebacker Ryan Simmons and safety Jordan Sterns, as well as current Cowboy offensive lineman Deionte Noel and 2018 cornerback commit JayVeon Cardwell.
Player, listed at 6-feet and 170 pounds, is the sixth defensive player and second cornerback in the Cowboys' 2019 class. OSU is the only Power Five program among Power's 22 offers; he committed to the Cowboys over Abilene Christian, among others.
