Oklahoma State is ranked No. 15 in the Associated Press’ top 25 preseason poll, which was released Monday.
It’s the first time the Cowboys are ranked in the preseason top 25 poll since 2017 when they were No. 10 and finished the season 10-3 after defeating No. 22 Virginia Tech 30-21 in the Camping World Bowl. OSU received voting points each of the past two seasons with 51 in 2018 and three in 2019.
The AP Top 25 poll does include nine teams from the Big Ten and Pac-12, which both canceled their games for the season because the coronavirus pandemic.
