Oklahoma State scored 14 points in the first quarter, but Texas A&M answered with 24 straight points to end the Cowboys’ three-game bowl streak in a 24-21 loss Friday in the Texas Bowl.
A&M quarterback Kellen Mond ran for 67 yards to give the Aggies (8-5) a 21-14 lead early in the fourth quarter. Tre Sterling, who missed the first half of the game due to a targeting hit against Oklahoma, had a chance to tackle Mond around the 25 but the Aggie QB alluded the diving attempt.
