The Redskins selected Oklahoma State defensive end Jordan Brailford with the 253rd overall pick, the second to last pick, in the 2019 NFL Draft on Saturday in Nashville, Tenn.
Brailford recorded 54 tackles, including 17 solo, pulled down nine quarterback sacks and forced two fumbles as a junior this past season for the Cowboys. He had 57 tackles (34 solo), five sacks and one forced fumble during his sophomore campaign.
Brailford is a bit undersize (6-foot-3, 255 pounds), but makes up for it with his speed, which was showcased at the NFL Scouting Combine in March in Indianapolis where he clocked in at 4.
