Oklahoma State received one vote in the Associated Press top 25 poll Sunday after beating then-No. 23 Iowa State 34-27 this week in Ames.
The Cowboys (5-3, 2-3 Big 12) dropped two straight at Texas Tech and at home to undefeated Baylor before they upset the Cyclones. OSU hosts TCU, who topped then-No. 15 Texas 37-27 in Fort Worth. The loss dropped the Longhorns out of the poll as the first team on the outside looking in.
LSU is the new No. 1 after a 23-20 win over No. 11 Auburn, who stayed put in the poll.
