Class of 2019 combo guard Avery Anderson out of Justin, Texas has named Oklahoma State in his top five schools, along with LSU, TCU, Florida and Texas Tech.
Anderson did not list SMU in his top five despite his coach at Justin Northwest High School leaving to take an assistant job for the Mustangs this past week. The crystal ball for Anderson at 247sports has him as an OSU lean.
The four-star recruit will look to lead the Northwest Texans back to the state finals after a state semifinal loss last season. As for coach Mike Boynton, pairing Anderson with the Boone twins in the class of 2019 would likely make for a top 20 class in the nation.
