Tatum is the first commit in the Lincoln Riley Era at Oklahoma. The Longhorns had previously flipped four-star QB Cameron Rising from OU to Texas.
Tatum hails from Oklahoma City and is the No. 2 player in the state. The 6-foot-4, 269-pound DE is the No. 86 player in the nation for the class of 2017.
The addition of Tatum puts the Sooners in the Top 10 of the 247Sports recruiting rankings. He's the tenth Sooner commit, a group that includes five-star OT Brey Walker.
