'You can't stop what's destiny': Jalen Hurts returning to the site of the highs and lows of his career

NORMAN — The last time Jalen Hurts walked off the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, a slight smile flashed across Hurts’ face as he blew kisses into the crowd.

It was the culmination of the game that would define his Alabama career as much as any other.

While Oklahoma has yet to play any game, much less the Peach Bowl, in Georgia, Hurts has plenty of experience in the stadium where the Sooners will meet LSU in the College Football Playoffs at 3 p.m. Dec. 28.

Hurts has played three games in the stadium, which opened in 2017, including two of the defining games of his career.
