NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma's wide receiver depth picked up an unexpected bonus in Geno Lewis this off-season.
Lewis spent four years and played three seasons at Penn State. He decided to spend his final year of eligibility at OU, however, as a graduate transfer.
Coach Bob Stoops spoke highly of his new receiver at his Thursday press conference. He hopes Lewis can have a similar one-year stint to former Penn State and OU receiver Justin Brown, who was OU's second-leading receiver in 2012.
"Justin's a little bit taller, but I think (Lewis) will have a chance to make a similar impact," Stoops said.
