STILLWATER — Yu-Sang Hou seemed to make every putt, but she wasn't comfortable over the ball at first.
Hou, a freshman and late addition to the Arizona women's golf team, gave the Wildcats their first point after defeating Alabama junior Lauren Stephenson, 4 and 3 in the finals of the NCAA women's golf championships at Karsten Creek Golf Club.
To begin the back nine, Hou made four consecutive putts, making her match go from all square at the turn to giving her a 4 up advantage heading to the final hole.
Although the putts were dropping late, she said it was an early-round adjustment coach Laura Ianello told her that helped her settle in and help the Wildcats win their third national title.
