NORMAN — With Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn's decision Thursday to not pursue charges against Rodney Anderson in connection with a rape allegation, Oklahoma's running back situation for the Rose Bowl is a little bit clearer.

Though Anderson, who leads OU's rushing attack with 960 yards, didn't practice earlier in the week he's “still fully on the team,” coach Lincoln Riley said before Mashburn's announcement.

“He didn't practice, not because of anything off the field,” Riley said. “He is still healing up a little bit.”

OU didn't issue an official statement after the district attorney's news conference, but the announcement didn't change Anderson's status with the team, OU spokesman Mike Houck said Thursday night.
