Sunday is International Women's Day.
Know how I knew?
The Google logo on my computer had the gender symbol for women next to a sunburst-looking logo that I wasn't familiar with, so I scrolled over it to see what the occasion was.
International Women's Day 2020.
The observance has been around for more than a century. It is celebrated on March 8 each year and is a day to recognize the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. That's a celebration I can get behind.
The timing of this day was interesting in light of a debate between some of our sports staff.
