Cody Ford’s moment was delayed.
Not only as he slipped into early in the second round in the NFL Draft, but as the former Oklahoma offensive lineman’s walk across the stage was delayed after he was picked.
But now, Ford is content after being picked No. 38 overall by the Buffalo Bills in the second round Friday.
When he was finally introduced in Nashville, about 40 minutes after being picked, Ford said Buffalo was his preferred destination all along.
“The O-line coach, coach Bobby Johnson, I feel like we hit it off as soon as we met at Pro Day,” Ford said on the NFL Network.
