It's almost time for March Madness and plenty of local teams could be headed to the NCAA tournament. Which ones will make it, and who can make the deepest run? Our insiders, columnists and contributors weigh in:
Chuck Carlton: Right now, Texas Tech and Oklahoma are givens. And two from among these next four teams: Baylor, TCU, Texas and Oklahoma State. SMU would have to pull off a miracle in the AAC tournament. Some people are suggesting that the Big 12 could get eight or nine teams in the tournament. Until proven otherwise, I think the Big 12's ceiling is seven teams -- which would still be a good showing.
