Dallas-native and Broncos linebacker Corey Nelson returned to his middle school Henry W. Longfellow Career Exploration Academy on Wednesday a Super Bowl 50 champion. He was greeted as such as he addressed an auditorium full of students at Longfellow's African-American History Month assembly.
The crowd stood and cheered as the former Oklahoma and Skyline star took the stage and dabbed. He then spoke to the students about overcoming obstacles before signing footballs for four exemplary students.
Before the assembly, Nelson answered a few questions about his Super Bowl run, playing with former Cowboy DeMarcus Ware, Oklahoma and Skyline.
