Former Allen High School standout Lee Morris has spent the past four years waiting for his chance at Oklahoma. Now he's officially on scholarship.
He started to make an impact last season, catching a pair of touchdowns — including one at Ohio State — but he was arguably the best player on the field for the Sooners in their 63-14 win over Florida Atlantic on Saturday.
It didn't take long for coach Lincoln Riley to move Morris away from walk-on status. He tweeted a video of the announcement on Monday evening:

Morris caught a 65-yard touchdown pass in the first half on Saturday, and he also blocked a punt that immediately turned into six points for the Sooners.
