College GameDay’s Lee Corso has made his pick: The Oklahoma Sooners.
Oklahoma fans were probably hoping Corso would pick against the Sooners. Per data compiled by the Tulsa World’s Eric Bailey, OU has won the last five times Corso picked its opponent.
Oklahoma is 3-2 all-time when GameDay is on location at the Texas State Fair. Corso has picked the Sooners in two of those games, turning in a 1-1 record.
Texas enters Saturday on a four-game winning streak, but the Longhorns are 7.5-point underdog. UT has yet to face a passing offense as efficient as Oklahoma’s, but the Sooners haven’t played a secondary like Texas’, either.
