Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman reiterated Tuesday to media in a pre-draft news conference that Adrian Peterson will not be traded.
The former OU star running back hasn't attended voluntary offseason workouts with the Vikings and his agent, Ben Dogra, insists Peterson does not want to return to Minnesota.
"We can just end the Adrian Peterson stuff," Spielman said. "Our position has not changed.
"We have no interest in trading Adrian Peterson."
The NFL reinstated Peterson in April following a suspension for a child abuse charge from September. Peterson only played in one game during the 2014 season.
