Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield was feeling it Saturday afternoon against Tulsa, making beautiful throws all over the field on his way to four touchdowns in the first three quarters. Oh, and he also had an impressive rushing touchdown. But his ability to extend plays with his legs may have been the most impressive thing.
Late in he 3rd quarter, while facing a seemingly inevitable sack, Mayfield pulled a rabbit out of a hat by somehow escaping a crowded pocket and finding an open receiver for 9-yard touchdown to extend the Sooners’ lead.
