USA Softball announces rosters
Softball's return to the Olympics in 2020 means the return of professional players to Team USA this year.
Saturday, USA Softball announced the rosters for two 2018 women's national teams, and headlining the selections are Monica Abbott and Keilani Ricketts. Both pitchers were dominant during their college days, Abbott at Tennessee and Ricketts at Oklahoma, and now, both are top-level hurlers in the pro ranks.
USA Softball announced that both the World Championship Team and the Japan All-Star Series Team will compete in the World Cup of Softball this summer in Oklahoma City.
