An interesting theory emerged from the first half of Oklahoma's marquee matchup with Ohio State.
OU quarterback Baker Mayfield exited the game twice in the first half with what appeared to be cramps. On both occasions, Kyler Murray got the ball with a chance to do damage. And both times, Mayfield re-entered the game on the next play.
On his two plays, Murray handed the ball off once and kept it for nine-yard gain on the other.
