NORMAN — Someday Trae Young won't be the story.
In some game during his freshman season, one of Young's teammates will make a critical play that leads to a win, or won't make a play that leads to a loss or something else will happen that shifts focus away — if for a second — from Oklahoma's freshman point guard.
But it hasn't happened in the Sooners' first seven games, which include Monday's 97-85 win over Texas-San Antonio.
Young was successful at scoring in volume against the Roadrunners — 28 points.
He helped keep the ball moving, with eight assists and plenty more that could've been had his teammates finished.
