After a legendary 43-point performance in Saturday’s overtime win over TCU, Trae Young came back down to earth as the Oklahoma Sooners fell to the Kansas State Wildcats by a score of 87-69. It was Oklahoma’s sixth consecutive loss inside Bramlage Coliseum.
After getting into an early 14-point hole, Oklahoma was able to regain the lead just before halftime. However, two straight K-State threes before intermission set the tone for the rest of the game.
Trae Young had 20 points on 8-21 shooting and ended the night with an 12 turnovers — an NCAA single-game high for this season.
