Oklahoma pounded the University of Alabama-Birmingham 15-0 on Sunday in a five-inning game shortened by the run rule.
The Sooners scored 15 runs on nine hits and were aided by another eight base runners who reached base courtesy of a base on balls. Sophomore third baseman Sydney Romero and junior shortstop Kelsey Arnold led the OU offensive attack with two hits apiece. One of Arnold’s two hits was a two-run home run.
