THREE STORYLINES: OKLAHOMA VS. TULANE
Fresh off a 31-16 win over Ohio State last week, the Sooners get an apparent lull in the schedule when they face Tulane. The Green Wave present some interesting problems for Oklahoma, though, and the Sooners have some things to work on entering their final non-conference game.
1. How will the Sooners defend the spread option?
Tulane's offense is unlike any other in college football, with its shotgun triple-option approach. While the Green Wave aren't going to be confused with Barry Switzer's wishbone teams, they can still stress defenses. Oklahoma's linebackers and safeties, in particular, figure to get plenty of work in this one.
