TULSA — Oklahoma comes into the Big 12 wrestling championships with wrestlers seeded in the top eight in all but one weight class, and three top-five seeds.
The Sooners took sixth at last year’s tournament, earning three automatic bids to the NCAA championships, as well as one at-large berth.
Here’s a look at three OU wrestlers to watch this weekend at the BOK Center in Tulsa.
Dom Demas, 141 pounds: As the No. 3 seed, Demas will await the winner of No. 6 Sam Turner of Wyoming and West Virginia’s Caleb Rea. Demas, a redshirt freshman, has won five straight matches, all with bonus-point victories.
