The Onion — which bills itself as “America’s Finest News Source” — is the undisputed king of parody news.

Tuesday, the fake news outlet published a piece poking fun at the NCAA’s ban on athletes receiving extra benefits, writing that major college sports’ governing body was investigating God for giving student-athletes “gifts.”

“Over the past several decades, the Almighty has provided hundreds of players from high-profile Division I football and basketball programs with abundant natural speed, strength, and agility, and both the universities and the players themselves are now said to be facing heavy sanctions and punishments,” the article reads.
