NORMAN — It's Sunday morning, and Baker Mayfield is crouched low to the black speckled floor at his regular brunch spot
He needs to study a 5-year-old's crystal collection.
Waiters and waitresses walk past with trays stacked with food and patrons shuffle to their tables, some letting their eyes linger on the OU quarterback.
Mayfield's family is just a few feet away, sitting at the same table they've occupied every Sunday following home games for the last three years. Rose Hall, the 5-year-old, is within arm's length of her family, too.
But neither Mayfield nor Rose pay attention to any of it.
