Kenneth Murray was asked an innocuous question about Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger on Monday. Rather than complimenting his game, Murray’s response was terse.
“No comment,” said the OU linebacker, choosing the same words Kyler Murray used when asked about Ehlinger before last year’s Big 12 Championship game.
Baker Mayfield had a comment.
“He couldn’t beat Lake Travis, so I don’t really care about his opinion on winning,” Mayfield, referencing an Austin, Texas high school rivalry, said last month on Sports Talk 1400 KREF. “Westlake is a great program, but the two best quarterbacks to come out of there are Drew Brees and Nick Foles.
