EDMOND — After 13 seasons, Central Oklahoma’s winningest men’s basketball coach has decided it’s time for a new challenge.
Terry Evans resigned at UCO Friday morning, opening the door for the next chapter of his successful coaching career.
“After lots of prayer and several conversations with my family, I have decided to resign my coaching position at the University of Central Oklahoma,” Evans said in a statement released by UCO. “My family and I had an unbelievable experience at UCO for the last 13 years.
“I’m really proud of our current and past coaches and players.
