Oklahoma cornerback Jordan Thomas was arrested by Grady County police late Saturday night for failure to appear in court for a traffic violation.
Thomas was ticketed by police for speeding in July. Court records showed he was going 94 in a 75 mph zone. He was sent a notice that his license had been suspended Oct. 1 and a warrant was issued Nov. 19 for his failure to appear.
The Oklahoma Daily and SoonerScoop.com earlier reported Thomas' arrest.
Thomas was suspended twice earlier in the year for undisclosed team violations. He missed the first quarter of the opener against Akron, and the entire Sept.
