CeeDee Lamb hauled in a contested 14-yard reception on third-and-eight to set up first-and-goal from the 7.
But Lamb was flagged first for a personal foul in the aftermath of the play when he got tangled up with Tech’s Desmon Smith.
Then while arguing with the official about the initial call, Lamb was flagged again for unsportsmanlike conduct.
“Everything just happened in a blink,” Lamb said.
The penalties pushed the Sooners back 30 yards and instead of scoring, OU eventually had to punt.
