Sherri Coale won her 500th career game in surprising fashion Sunday, as Oklahoma came back from a 22-point halftime deficit to beat Kansas 94-82 in overtime at Allen Fieldhouse.
Taylor Robertson tied her career high with 31 points and Madi Williams scored a career-high 26 in the win.
With the victory, Coale moved to No. 2 in wins in state college women’s basketball history. The only coach with more wins than Coale is Coale’s college coach — Oklahoma Christian’s Stephanie Finley.
“Congratulations to the most energetic, passionate and hard-working coach I know,” Findley said in a statement.
