Fans won't have to wait until August to see football on Oklahoma's Owen Field.
The Sooners' annual spring game will be April 8 at 1 p.m., OU announced Monday. Seating will be general admission with tickets costing $5 for non-season ticket holders. Season ticket holders will receive information for reserving free tickets with their 2017 renewal packet.
Seating for OU students and Sooners Jr. Kids Club members, as well. Campus parking lots will be free and open to the public.
The Sooner Sports Radio Network will carry the broadcast starting at 12:30 p.m. -- AM 1630 in Dallas, FM 107.
