STILLWATER — With microphones in front of him and camera lights shining in his eyes, Oklahoma golfer Brad Dalke wiped a tear from the corner of his eye, and attempted to clear his throat.
Intense and focused when he's on the course, this was a side of Dalke not often seen in view of the media.
He was frustrated by the Sooners' 3-2 loss to Auburn in the match play quarterfinals of the NCAA men's championship, ending OU's national title defense by lunchtime Tuesday at Karsten Creek Golf Club.
But that's not why Dalke's emotions had overcome him.
