Sooners' Rodney Anderson picked by Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round

Rodney Anderson, on his road back from a third season-ending injury, has been rewarded.

The Oklahoma running back was selected with the No. 211 overall pick in the sixth round by the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday in the NFL draft.

In Cincinnati, Anderson will be teamed up with another former OU running back—Joe Mixon.

Anderson suffered a season-ending knee injury last September against UCLA. It was the third season-ending injury of his OU career. Before going down against the Bruins, Anderson had racked up 119 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.

The 6-foot, 224-pound prospect from Katy, Texas played just 18 games in his injury-riddled college career.
