It’s not often that the members of Oklahoma’s football team get to feast on junk food.
But when OU’s flight to Manhattan, Kansas was delayed by more than 8 hours a year ago, the Sooners chowed down on all the food usually forbidden by Tiffany Byrd, director of OU’s sports nutrition.
“I don’t know if (Byrd) watches this, but there was a lot of junk food,” linebacker Ogbonnia Okoronkwo said at Monday’s press conference. “I had some Chick-Fil-A, I had some Burger King, I had some chicken tenders from I forgot where. I had a little pizza, too.
