TALLAHASSEE — A pitcher's duel it was not.
No. 3 seed Oklahoma came from behind to beat No. 2 seed Mississippi State 20-10 thanks to a nine-run seventh inning that saw 15 OU hitters come to the plate on Friday afternoon at Dick Howser Stadium.
The Sooners (37-23) went up 5-0 to start the game and then found themselves down 10-7 before storming back.
“The game is played in momentums,” OU coach Skip Johnson said.
“It's what it is. You've got to try and keep the momentum in your dugout as much as you can.
