Oklahoma DT Jordan Wade's eyes grew to almost twice their normal size when the word "clowns" was said during OU's media availability.
"I never knew they were [in Norman]," Wade said. "That's new to me. I didn't know that. Where were they at?"
Social media in Norman was rampant Monday night with reports of clown sightings around the college town. From Twitter to Yik Yak and Facebook, users spotted "creepy" clowns walking everywhere from Highway 9 south of town to the dorms at OU.
It's part of a nationwide spike in "clown sightings." Whether there were actually any clowns around OU on Monday remains to be seen.
