Sooners pick up first 2021 commitment

A couple hours after picking up their first 2020 defensive back commitment, Oklahoma grabbed its first commitment from any position for the 2021 class.

It came in the form of Richmond (Texas) Foster athlete Cody Jackson, who announced his decision on Twitter.

Jackson's other offers included Alabama, Oklahoma State, Michigan and Baylor among others.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder, is one of the top receivers in the Houston area. The Sooners have had luck with receivers from Foster, as that's the high school that produced current Oklahoma standout CeeDee Lamb.

Jackson's commitment leaves one set of Lincoln Riley's eyeball emojis left unaccounted for over the weekend.
