NORMAN — Oklahoma’s men’s basketball’s roster makeover appears complete.
After a weekend visit to Norman, Maine graduate transfer point guard Aaron Calixte announced his decision to commit to the Sooners on Tuesday.
Calixte figures to be the favorite to start at point guard for the Sooners next season, after last year’s starting point guard Trae Young announced his decision to enter the NBA Draft after a big-time freshman season.
Last season, Calixte averaged 16.9 points and 3.2 assists for the Black Bears.
Maine struggled to a 6-26 record, though, and Calixte announced his decision to transfer after the season.
