Sooners' Jalen Hurts named Senior CLASS Award finalist

NORMAN — Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts is a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award for football.

Hurts leads the nation in passing efficiency (224.3), passing yards per completion (18.6), points responsible for (206), points responsible for per game (25.8), and passing yards per attempt (13.7).

Hurts has a degree in public relations from Alabama and is taking graduate courses at OU.

The award — which stands for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School — awards on- and off-the-field work as well as community service.
