Oklahoma's Matt Freeman is one of five players to earn repeat Academic All-Big 12 honors, the league announced Thursday.
Freeman, a redshirt sophomore, was joined on the 21-player first team by junior Rashard Odomes.
Freeman is a finance major from Auckland, New Zealand. Odomes is a human relations major from Copperas Cove, Texas.
Oklahoma State's Trey Reeves, a sophomore accounting major from Gans, also earned first-team honors.
Each team also had a second-team representative — Oklahoma's Jamuni McNeace and Oklahoma State's Mitchell Solomon.
West Virginia's Jevon Carter earned the honors for the third consecutive season while Baylor's Jake Lindsey, Kansas State's Mason Schoen and TCU's Vladimir Brodziansky joined Freeman in being back-to-back first-team honorees.
