NORMAN—Oklahoma cornerback Jordan Thomas was arrested early Thursday morning.
Thomas was booked into the Cleveland County jail at 2:45 a.m. under suspicion of assault and battery, public intoxication and interference.
"We are aware of it and will monitor the situation and act accordingly," an OU spokesman said.
It isn't Thomas' first run-in with the law.
He spent a night in Grady County jail in mid-December after failing to appear in court following a traffic citation.
Twice last season, Thomas missed time for disciplinary reasons. He was suspended for the Sept. 19 game against Tulsa for an undisclosed violation and missed the first quarter of the season opener against Akron.
