The Sooners are Big 12 Champions yet again.
After winning the regular season title, OU repeated as conference champions in the Big 12 Championship, defeating Baylor 6-4 for its sixth conference tournament title.
Senior center fielder Nicole Pendley was responsible for OU’s first five runs. She smacked a two RBI double to right center field on the first pitch she saw in the first inning to plate Jocelyn Alo and Shay Knighten.
Then in her second at bat, Pendley blasted a three-run home run just over the center field wall to bring Alo and Knighten home yet again.
