WACO, TEXAS — Less than 7:30 in Tuesday night's game at the Ferrell Center, Oklahoma was heading to the free-throw line in the bonus.
The Sooners were aggressive in attacking the basket early, and it paid off with opportunities at the free-throw line. It also put the Bears in a precarious position with foul trouble.
It didn't much matter, though, as Oklahoma struggled to do much else offensively and couldn't convert much at the free-throw line.
The Sooners made just 8 of 15 first-half free throws and were eventually blown out by the Bears, 87-64.
When Jake Lindsey fouled Trae Young with 12:32 to go in the first half, Lindsey became the fourth Baylor player with multiple fouls.
