Sooner spring game rosters announced

Oklahoma's spring game is going to be a little different this year.

Unlike previous years, the Sooners will use a traditional game format and scoring system, and the squad will be split into two teams.

"It's going to make the game competitive, create some really cool situational football that will be really fun for the fans and good for our players," coach Lincoln Riley said in a release. "We're trying to stoke up the whole experience and this is just a part of it."

Former OU standouts Adrian Peterson and Trent Williams will serve as honorary coaches with Tony Jefferson assisting Peterson and Lane Johnson acting as Williams' assistant.
