The weekly honor continue for Sooner linebacker Eric Striker.
Twenty-four hours after being named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week, Striker received two national honors for his outstanding play in Oklahoma’s 44-24 win over previously unbeaten and then-23rd-ranked West Virginia on Saturday.
The Football Writers Association of America voted the Sooner senior linebacker the AutoNation National Defensive Player of the Week, and he was also named the Lott IMPACT Player of the Week.
Striker enjoyed a career game in the Sooners fourth win of the season over the weekend.
